PIERRE LERGENMULLER

co-founder

Author / Director / VFX Supervisor

After studying fine arts and then computer graphics, Pierre founded his first visual effects and animation studio "In Efecto", in 2004.

Always seeking meaning in his work, he joined the ArtFX school as a CG/VFX instructor, later supervising graduation projects.

In 2011, he began developing his first documentary series, "Points de Repères", and co-founded the studio "Triarii Prod", where he took on the roles of author, director, and studio director.

After three seasons and 39 episodes of "Points de Repères", he continued with the series "Déclics"(Arte) and "2080, Nos Futurs" (Canal+ Docs).

As a passionate generalist and entrepreneur at heart, he chose in 2024 to create a new studio with four former collaborators: ZONE 658.

SANDRINE HAUDUCOEUR

President / Co-Founder

Project Director

Graduate of the National School of Applied Arts and the Decorative arts school, Sandrine has been working in animation and visual effects for 35 years. Her career has taken her through a wide range of positions: film restorer, stop-motion and 3D animator, production manager, first assistant director, then project manager.

She has worked with numerous studios such as Exposure, Ex-Machina, Mac Guff Ligne, Sparx, and MoonScoop on a variety of formats, including commercials, series, short films, and feature films. She is also actively involved in industry development, serving on the steering committee for the Technical Director training program supported by the CPNEF Audiovisual. She is completing her term in 2025 on the Animation Reading Committee of the Occitanie Region and is an active member of the associations "Les Femmes s’Animent" in Occitanie and ACM SIGGRAPH Montpellier.

In 2009, she joined the ArtFX school in Montpellier as Head of Production, overseeing graduation films before taking on the role of project director for the series "2080, Nos Futurs"(Canal+ Docs).

In 2024, she embarked on a new adventure by co-founding ZONE 658, a studio launched with a trusted team.

MATHIEU BENEDETTI

CG Supervisor

Trained at ArtFX, Mathieu began exploring all aspects of computer graphics during his studies: animation, lighting, rendering, FX... a world he is passionate about. Independent and versatile, he began his career as a freelancer, where he developed a solid ability to manage a project from start to finish.

After a period of teaching, he joined Triarii Prod as a VFX and then CG supervisor, where he designed and implemented the technical pipeline for the series "2080, Nos Futurs" (Canal+ Docs).

In 2024, Mathieu renewed his commitment to education by teaching at ESMA and ArtFX, while launching ZONE 658, his own studio, to share his expertise in support of ambitious creative projects.

ADRIEN CAPPAI

co-founder

FX Supervisor

Trained at ArtFX Montpellier, Adrien soon specialized in dynamic simulations. For about ten years, he worked in the heart of major studios, from Paris to Vancouver, from Nightshift to MPC.

Curious and versatile, he eventually moved back to Occitanie, where he where he developed new skills: filming, motion capture, 3D environments, lighting, rendering...

Projects like "Points de Repères" (Arte), "Déclics" (Arte), and "2080, Nos Futurs" (Canal + Docs) allowed him to establish himself as a well-rounded generalist while always staying rooted in his core passion: FX.

At the end of this intense production period, the desire to create something more personal naturally led him to join forces with his former collaborators to co-found ZONE 658.

LOIC CARTAL

Art Director

Graduate of the National School of Applied Arts with a special mention for boldness, Loic first became a webdesigner before spending 2 years exploring the World and diversifying his practice: working on giant mural paintings, commercials and scenography!

In 2015, he joined "Triarii Prod" as storyboarder and concept artist for the “Points de Repères” series (Arte). An all-round artist, versatile and a good listener, he quickly became the Artistic Director.

It was in this same position that he supervised the pre-production team in charge of the series “Déclics” (Arte) and “2080, Nos Futurs” (Canal + Docs).

In 2024, he co-founded ZONE 658 with the ambition of building an independent studio dedicated to bold and distinctive visual storytelling.
